I Love This...

I've always loved this theme, it is so sweet and so very soothing. I think it's beautiful...I hope you enjoy it too. I think we need more of this beauty in the world.

The time period that this movie was made in (1962) is very meaningful to me. If you are able, this would be a very worthwhile movie to watch. It really puts so many things in perspective I think.

The neighborhood reminds me of the one I grew up in.

Yes, this is such a good movie. One of my Mom's favorites too ; ) Have you read the book?

Thank you Jane! Yes, coffee sounds great! What fun we girls would have!

Yes, Harper Lee sounds like quite a character! I read in one book about her (I Am Scout) that she attended the opening of her home church's new building after her book and the movie etc. The preacher warned her not to leave her purse on the pew, it may be stolen. Harper Lee told the preacher that there wasn't any money in the purse anyhow, the church had taken it all! *Oh My!*
: D

Thanks so much for your sweet encouragement, it means the world friend. : )

Hi Eva!

The book is such a neat book, I have a very nice copy of the book printed the year the movie was made and I gave my daughter Marianna an old copy for Christmas a couple of years ago. Rebecca read the book too recently. I think we may have four copies floating around! : )

Do you like the book?

I bet your mom and I would get along well! : ) Your mom must be a great lady to have such a sweet daughter like you Eva.

I hope you and your sweet family have a blessed New Years.

Love, ~Amelia
