I can't wait! ANDREA BOCELLI LIVE AT DUOMO CATHEDRAL, MILAN, ITALY. TOMORROW. EASTER. LIVE ON YOUTUBE.
My Italian grandpa, Vincent Oddo was an opera singer in New York when he arrived here in America as an immigrant with his cousin, Jerome Trapolino. My husband is a musician and we both have a love of music so this is just very touching and exciting to me. A Gift. On Easter.
“On the day in which we celebrate the trust in a life that triumphs, I’m honored and happy to answer ‘Sì’ to the invitation of the City and the Duomo of Milan. I believe in the strength of praying together; I believe in the Christian Easter, a universal symbol of rebirth that everyone – whether they are believers or not – truly needs right now. Thanks to music, streamed live, bringing together millions of clasped hands everywhere in the world, we will hug this wounded Earth’s pulsing heart, this wonderful international forge that is reason for Italian pride. The generous, courageous, proactive Milan and the whole of Italy will be again, and very soon, a winning model, engine of a renaissance that we all hope for. It will be a joy to witness it, in the Duomo, during the Easter celebration which evokes the mystery of birth and rebirth” Andrea Bocelli
Fall on Me, Andrea Bocelli and his son, Matteo Bocelli. I think this is so beautiful...
I know I posted the video above, 'Fall on Me' last entry, please oblige. I've been enjoying this song in our kitchen as I prepare our evening dinner. Our evening dinner is just Jem and I these days and my quiet time in the kitchen is my grandma's hands preparing our dinner...I see my hands and I see her hands. I hear this song? It is God speaking to my heart. God the Father.
Fall on me with open arms...Fall on me where you are...
He is there with us.
My daughter tells me the concert will be 12pm our time. We are in the south in the U.S. It's live, so please check your particular time in your part of the world.
I'll close with Doctor's Orders, I recently saw:
Micah 6:8
1.) Do justly
2.) Love Mercy
3.) Walk Humbly
Me with Jimmy, our secondborn little grandchild.
In Christ, He is risen. What would I do without the Father? ~Amelia

A hearty Amen! Christ is indeed risen! And that doesn't change whether we are quarantined or not!!
Sweet photo of you and your grandson. You are so elegant and lovely!
Andrea Bocelli has an amazing voice!
Happy Easter to you and yours!!
So good to hear he is a believer!
Your grandbaby is ADORABLE, 😊
Thank you Patti! Your comment is a Blessing to my heart!
I hope you have a joyful Resurrection Sunday, He is risen!
I have the Bocelli youtube pulled up waiting, in 3 hours it will stream live. He is singing Amazing Grace in the youtube I have posted. Enjoy!
Thank you Sandi! Your comment is so sweet, Elliott truly is a bundle of joy.
Yes,Bocelli has some very good things to say. TBN did a Christmas special from the Bocelli home in Tuscany, it is beautiful and shows their family, their horses and what Bocelli has to say about Christmas, the reality.
Bocelli also has some interviews on youtube on quietness, and listening to God. I'm not sure where the interviewer is coming from but I know where Bocelli is coming from. He is also a *very* strong prolife advocate. A conservative as well, was supposed to sing at the past innauguration but there were death threats.
Thanks for the sweet comment Sandi!
It bears re-posting and repeating - that Bocelli father son video is GORGEOUS.
And yes, I love that Bocelli did the performance on Sunday - it was obviously filled with such heart, empathy and of pointing the world to God during this time. God bless him for doing that. What a neat person he seems to be.
And I love the pic of you and little Elliott! <3
I loved watching this!! My favorite was when he sang Amazing Grace at the end. Absolutely stunning and meaningful. He seems like such a neat man and seems to really try to honor God in his life.
Lea, it was so beautiful wasn't it? He is such a neat, neat, Christian person. Yes. God bless him.
Michelle, Yes, I thought the same thing. I was also quite in awe when he sang Amazing Grace. He knows the power of quiet too and how you hear from God in the quiet times. Very smart man full of the right kind of wisdom.
