My heart has been broken over what I witnessed this past week, but God is doing something that is beautiful from the horrible and cruel ashes. There are thousands around the world awoken, awoken in the streets, awoken in the churches. A thousand youth attended a small church far north of us last night it was reported. A huge public gathering in the city.
It's ironic to me that Charlie Kirk was speaking on his program very recently about the beautiful Ukranian young woman who was brutally murdered by someone who never should have been out walking free.
May we lift this country up in prayer, so many things that are so twisted, the 1950s or older generation never ceases to shock me they have been so dulled, and it shows through the fruits. I suppose nothing is new under the sun though. Dr. Spock replaced the Bible. Instead of people having a plumb line straight up to God they seemed to mutter aimlessly through the years as things deteriorated...That's how things are these days.
If you ask me...It starts at the family dinner table. And may we be the godly Mimi and Popo, not the compromising kind.
This martyrdom from this past week has stirred something in the heavenlies...And created a movement.
May we remember too...

It's so hard for me to understand that there are those in white coats gleefully dancing on Charlie Kirk's grave. Oh, this ought not be!

Charlie Kirk stood for a beautiful Family Life, he understood being a true wife and mother, things I have been attacked for. Our family at one time spoke at homeschool workshops and I'm sad to say that I've witnessed homeschool families who have climbed Babel, compromise that is blatantly evident.
Back from that side thought...Charlie Kirk understood the beauty of family and marriage. He spoke Truth on so many things.
There are some beautiful things going on...Thousands of people in the streets giving tribute to Charlie Kirk around the world. Cooking vloggers, dollar tree haul vloggers, posting and sharing. It's amazing...Truly amazing and awesome as God is awesome.
This is a call for each and every one of us to do better.
Michael Berry said something to the effect that young people were listening and still are and that is the threat to many.
In closing, I want to Add to the Beauty, to tell the story of Redemption...Let's all learn to speak out with our testimonies and the Truth...And support those who do in love.

They have tried to assassinate God, His word and those that believe and having morals. Charlie is no longer on this earth, but in his glorious reward. My heart breaks for his beautiful family and those precious babies.
I love seeing all the peaceful prayer vigils all over the country. I have read there have been 1,000's of applications for his group to be on college campuses all over in just a few days. Wow, that is praiseful.
Evil is not going to win. We can each do something to be heard and make a difference.

It is so heartbreaking what has happened and I have been so upset as well. But wow… yes, he was definitely was the seed… that’s for sure. The video of Charlie Kirk you shared is SO good. That one with his coffin is so sad…. 😢
Beautiful tribute to our brother in Christ Charlie! Even though I never met him, I truly feel the deep heaviness of having lost a family member. I totally agree that this has only emboldened the (hopefully) no longer “silent majority.” It has inspired me to greater boldness as well! We all as individuals need to “build the wall in front of us” like in Nehemiah — taking care of families and marriages and whatever else God has given us responsibility for.
His death reminds me of the verse “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.” I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that this will only further the truth of the Gospel — Satan will not win! In spite of the hope we have, the journey his family will have to walk is incredibly sad.

Beautiful tribute and post. Charlie was a true an inspiration and patriot. I had no idea how hard this would hit our entire family but it has hit hard. My heart breaks so much for Erika and those precious babies. Just last month I ordered curriculum from Turning Point and pray we will be faithful to raise young men who are God-fearing patriots. CK’s legacy will last through generations.
It’s such a beautiful thing to see what only God could do from this awful situation. I haven’t ever seen so many comments and videos of people getting saved and reading their Bibles for the first time because of the power of Christ displayed in Charlie.

There truly is something about that song by Sara Groves, I have fond memories of it too when our girls were little. It's very true, we must take care of our families, young and old, our marriages and our foundations firstly unto the Lord. Keeping those walls strong and insulate those walls with prayer and an atmosphere of praise and holiness.
It's truly amazing what God is doing isn't it, our prayers go out with Erika and the babies, so, so heartbreaking. A huge loss for that sweet family, I just can't imagine.
We are in awe and amazement at what the Lord is doing through this horrible tragedy.

Have you seen the letter Charlie Kirk's pastor has issued concerning this with Candace Owens? One of our daughters shared it with me. He is diplomatically but obviously unhappy with Candace Owens in the grievous way she is treating this situation. My daughter forwarded me the instagram account where she saw the letter: robmccoy.us

Hi Cathy, I truly understand. Actually, the only social media I'm half way active on is my blog, if we can call this a social media thing. I appreciate what you write, I truly want to glorify the Lord and encourage others in homemaking too, as I'm able which doesn't seem all too often these days, I just pray and wait for the Lord to quicken my heart. I do enjoy youtube videos that uplift and educate and even the beautiful music with autumn settings to grace our home. The b/w short is from something our daughters shared with me. We do enjoy listening to Michael Berry on the radio. All of that to say, I do understand what you are sharing and your feelings. I cannot handle the toxicity I many times see and just the time that so much of the other can waste. Actually, so much of it seems like bondage that keeps people from caring for their families, young and old.

"Charlie Kirk was my friend and I was his pastor. I want to simply say this regarding Candace Owens: Charlie Kirk was a friend to Candace and never publicly spoke poorly of her though he disagreed with her. He never operated nor entertained gossip or innuendo concerning Candace.
My only comment I offer regarding Candace is this: I only wish at this tragic time of mourning she would be the friend to Charlie that he was to her. He would never have treated Candace or her family in such a way had God forbid this tragedy been hers

I've quickly watched the Tucker videos and what I see is that he does not want the focus to be on anything but Charlie and what Charlie has done for Christ as I'm sure you want the focus to be on too. : ) Let's lift up Charlie's wife Erika and those babies and rejoice over the miraculous multitudes of people everywhere coming to know Jesus Christ in a personal way. Let's all reach out to others for Jesus, let's get some tracts and leave them in restaurants, bathrooms, everywhere. The time is right! That is what Charlie would want us to do. Let's let the things that break Christ's Heart break ours.
